Tell Governor Abbott: Stop Attacking Democracy

Governor Abbott,

Voters should choose their leaders—politicians shouldn’t choose their voters.

Your push to arrest and remove lawmakers who are protecting our freedom to vote is dangerous and undemocratic.

We demand you:

• End your attempts to jail or expel elected officials who are doing their job;
  
• Stop pushing gerrymandered maps that silence Black, Latino, and working-class voters;
  
• Respect the will of the people—not the demands of partisan power grabs.
