Port Townsend Women's March: Do Better
94% of women of color voted for Biden. 53% of white women voted for Trump. We were warned about what would happen if Trump was elected by women of color but we didn't listen. Now Texas has passed a heartbeat bill creating huge obstacles for women seeking healthcare. Georgia's supreme court will begin hearing a similar heartbeat bill on December 1st. We should have listened to women of color.
We challenge all attendees to do three things:
1. Register someone to vote.
2. Listen to voices of color and learn from them.
3. Talk to someone you know in the 53% and voice your concerns. Even if you don't change their minds, at least you tried.
