I-4 to Kathleen Rd Exit. Exit left towards RP Funding Center and follows signs. Parking will be first come first serve. Free parking available downtown. Gather at the corner of W. Lime Street and Harden Blvd at 9:45. This march will begin promptly at 10AM will hundred of thousands of woman across the United Stars of America taking a step together for Reproductive Rights!
As the Supreme Court prepares to reconvene on October 4th, it is imperative that our voices are heard regard reproductive right ls. People in Texas are facing near complete bans on abortion and vigilante justice and the Supreme Court allowed it!! Don’t let Florida be next! The power is in numbers and with the people! This is a gathering in Lakeland for Reproductive Rights. This will be a respectful march starting at the RP Funding Center on W. Lime Street. We will march together through downtown Lakeland and gather in solidarity on the lawn in front of the Francis Langford Promenade at 11:00 am for those unable to participate in the march. We will sit, walk the beautiful Lake Mirror and spread our message that we will not let the Government make any decisions on Our reproductive organs EVER for this generation or generations to come. We will commune for an hour with our signs before marching through downtown on E. Main Street before returning to the RP Funding Center.
DO NOT ENGAGE with hecklers. Be respectful of others.
What to bring: Homemade signs, water, sunblock and please wear a mask or social distance. Bring a towel or chair if you will need it during our time together on the promenade around Lake Mirror.
