Please join Democrats Abroad Madrid on Saturday, October 2nd at 12pm to stand in solidarity with women in Texas and to protect and defend reproductive rights.

This will be a demonstration - not a march - in Plaza Isabel II (metro Ópera). Please wear a mask and practice social distancing.

We are looking for speakers! Please e-mail Info-ES-Madrid@democratsabroad.org if you are interested in speaking, reading or singing something to the group on Saturday.

Why we're gathering
The US is witnessing the most dire threat to abortion access in our lifetime. When the Supreme Court rejected an emergency request to block Texas's abortion ban, they effectively took the next step towards overturning Roe v. Wade.

We are organizing this demonstration in solidarity with the people who are marching in every single state, Washington, DC, and around the world on October 2nd before the Supreme Court reconvenes on October 4th. We need to send an unmistakable message about our fierce opposition to restricting abortion access and overturning Roe v. Wade before it's too late.
