On September 1, the U.S. Supreme Court allowed Texas’ six-week abortion ban to take effect, eliminating abortion services for 90% of those in need. Since then, patients across Texas have been scared, confused, and left with nowhere to turn in accessing safe, legal abortion in their home state. This is a travesty, and outraged Planned Parenthood allies and supporters like you are ready to take action!

Please join us on Saturday, October 2nd from 9:00am – 10:00am at the Mount Vernon Planned Parenthood Health Center at 1805 E. Division Street. You will hear more about the abortion ban’s impact and then be invited to join us for a show of support by lining our sidewalk outside our health center, showing up for our right to control our own bodies and futures. We will have signs for you to use now or in the future, or feel free to bring your own sign to display as we stand in solidarity with Texans to fight to protect abortion access across the country.

Masks are required regardless of vaccination status. Please remain 6 ft apart from different households.
