On September 1, the U.S. Supreme Court allowed Texas’ six-week abortion ban to take effect, eliminating abortion services for 90% of those in need. Since then, patients across Texas have been scared, confused, and left with nowhere to turn in accessing safe, legal abortion in their home state. This is a travesty, and outraged Planned Parenthood allies and supporters like you are ready to take action!
Please join us on Saturday, October 2nd from 12:30pm – 1:30pm at the corner of North Forest and Ellis cross streets in Bellingham. There, you will be invited to join us for a show of support by lining our sidewalk outside the health center, showing up for our right to control our own bodies and futures. Signs will be provided as we take to a march that starts at 2:00pm at Bellingham City Hall, where we march in solidarity with Texans to fight to protect abortion access across the country.
Masks are required regardless of vaccination status. Please remain 6 ft apart from different households.
