Kalamazoo Women’s March for Reproductive Freedom, from Bronson Park on October 2nd
Speakers, music, marching and information tables

The organizers of the Kalamazoo Women’s March are working to create an event that not only defends the reproductive rights of all humans and to specifically affirm the resistance of harmful marginalization and bias against Black, Brown and Indigenous community members, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as people with disabilities when it intercedes with this subject. We will march strongly together on October 2nd for the rights of ALL who need access to the full spectrum of reproductive healthcare, including abortion care, birth control, prenatal care and safe birthing, at their own self-determination.

This event is one within a group of over 540 National Women’s Marches, in every state, across the country taking place on October 2nd, for prochoice issues, in response to what happened in Texas. https://womensmarch.com/ The key marches take place just two days before the Supreme Court is due to convene.
