Bryan Municipal Building - Sidewalk
East 29th Street & Texas Avenue
Bryan, TX 77803
On October 2nd, people all across the country are marching. We’re making ourselves loud and clear: we won't tolerate attacks on our reproductive freedom.
Join us for the Bryan/College Station March for Reproductive Rights - Part of the National Women’s March!
Oct 2 is the MS State game on campus, so let’s take it to Downtown Bryan!
Meet us at 11:00 - 1:30 on the corner of Texas Ave & 29th St. (In front of Bryan City Hall)
Background: This year, the Texas State Legislature passed “SB8,” which creates vigilante bounty-hunters empowered to sue for $10,000 + court costs anyone “aiding and abetting” (without defining that term) any abortion after an individual is 2 weeks late on their period. There are no exceptions for rape, incest, or victims of abuse.
Rep Raney, our 74-year-old State Representative for BCS, co-authored and voted for this bill then Gov Abbott signed into law.
SHOW UP! SPEAK UP!
Bring a friend! Better yet, bring TWO!
