We are marching Saturday, October 2nd in solidarity with the people of Texas whose fundamental right to reproductive freedom was diminished by SCOTUS’ decision to uphold Texas’ restrictive abortion policy.

Since 2017, the Women’s March has served as a beacon of activism for the contemporary women's movement. Aside from supporting reproductive rights and freedoms, we will also march in solidarity with the women’s movement everywhere. This includes reasserting our commitment as a region to elevating trans inclusion, disabled activism, BIWOC voices in policy making, and supporting Afghan women fleeing and resisting patriarchal violence in their homeland.

We will kick off at the Newburgh City Courthouse (300 Broadway, Newburgh, NY 12557) for a rally followed by a march down Broadway to People's Park.

Following our rally/speak-out, our official route is as follows:

- Cross Broadway from Courthouse to South side of the street;
- March South to Liberty Street, make a right;
- March to Washington Street, make a left;
- March South to People’s Park, across River Road, and to the Newburgh Boat Launch.

We will also be accepting donations to Planned Parenthood of Greater New York and toiletries and school supplies for Afghan Refugees being re-settled in nearby Westchester.
