Denton March to Defend Abortion Rights (Official)

This March was organized via a coalition of representatives from activist organizations across Denton County, including TEA Fund, the only grassroots non-profit abortion fund already serving as THE LIFELINE for North Texans needing assistance with abortion access.

Join Denton County residents in solidarity with people nationwide to march to #DefendAbortion on 10/2!

Our march will begin on the south lawn of the Denton County Courthouse at 1PM and will be 1.5-3 three miles long with several stops along the way for rest, guest speakers, and water.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ATTENDEES:
- WEAR A MASK when within six feet of others. Masks will be available for those who forget or need replacements.
- ORGANIZERS REQUEST NO OPEN DISPLAYS OF WEAPONS OF ANY KIND. This is a non-violent solidarity march.
- PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLES! Water refill stations will be available throughout the duration of the march but we discourage the use of disposable water bottle distribution.

*** Please note that as the individuals most as risk via these most harsh restrictions on reproductive rights in Texas, the voices of BIPOC & LGBTQIA individuals with uteruses will be prioritized as guest speakers but anyone in speaking, as well as anyone interested in volunteering for first aid /water support, and those seeking more information should email jessica@directactionforachange.com
