Texas abortion ban filed in Florida -> NOW WE MARCH!

Earlier this month, the U.S. Supreme Court allowed the Texas abortion ban, the most restrictive, draconian, extreme abortion law in modern American history, to go into effect.

On September 22nd in the Florida Capitol, Rep. Webster Barnaby (R-Deltona) filed HB167, a mirror of the Texas abortion ban that he and other Florida legislative leaders want to make the law of the land in our state. These attacks on reproductive freedom are a clarion call for Floridians from all walks of life to take action.

Please join reproductive rights advocates on Saturday, October 2nd at 2PM the Gazebo Area near the 77th Ave entrance at Coral Reef Park. Let’s take a stand together for reproductive health and freedom!

(Yes, there was a last minute location change from Coral Reef Park to Colonial Drive Park).

Masks are required. Social distancing will be respected. Hand sanitizer will be provided.

Hosted By a Coalition of Miami Organizations Including: ACLU of Greater Miami, Florida Rising, Latina Institute for Reproductive Justice Florida, League of Women Voters Miami-Dade, Miami-Dade County Commission for Women, Miami Workers Center, National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) Miami, , Planned Parenthood South, East, and North Florida, Seminole Tribe of Florida, Southern Birth Justice Network, TransSocial, Women's Emergency Network, Women’s March Florida and Women's March Miami
