Get your marching shoes on and join us as we #MarchForReproductiveRights.
We're taking to the streets in response to Texas' draconian six-week abortion ban, which allows individuals to sue abortion providers and patients.
The Women's March and more than 90 other organizations, including National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health, Planned Parenthood, SHERO Mississippi, Mississippi in Action, Access Reproductive Care-Southeast, and SisterSong, are calling on women and feminists nationwide to rise up on October 2 in defense of our reproductive rights. On October 2, we're marching in every single state ahead of the Supreme Court reconvening on October 4.
We'll be meeting at the parking lot area near Sakuras and Fiesta Foods. March will follow the Lower Yakima Valley Pathway until the intersection of the Yakima Valley Highway & Lincoln Ave (near Columbia Bank, across from Walmart) and then back to our meeting spot. March will be roughly 1.6 miles long and take us about 30-40 minutes.
We will be following COVID regulations and practicing social distancing as best as possible while marching. Please wear a mask, and bring your passion & signs!
