City Hall is located on Main St., Las Cruces, next to Branigan Library. We'll be meeting in the grassy opening so that we can have the space to be socially distant.
Texas legislation recently passed one of the most restrictive abortion laws in the country, S.B. 8. This law deputizes Texas citizens to sue anyone they choose for "aiding and abetting" an abortion and has placed a $10,000 bounty on the heads of anyone who has an abortion. Let's stand together to support women and others with uteruses in Texas, and to help prevent the passing of other laws that threaten our human right to bodily autonomy. Come wearing purple, cream, white, and/or black to show our unity!
