From Interstate 80 Westbound: Take the 9th Street/Downtown exit and follow I-180 south into downtown Lincoln. Turn left (east) on K Street and proceed 6 blocks. From Interstate 80 Eastbound: Take US Highway 77/Homestead Expressway south to Rosa Parks Way eastbound. Rosa Parks Way becomes K Street at 9th Street, follow east to Capitol at 15th Street/Centennial Mall. From US Highway 77/Homestead Expressway Northbound: Take Rosa Parks Way eastbound, it becomes K Street at 9th Street in downtown, follow east to Capitol at 15th Street/Centennial Mall. From Nebraska Highway 2: Follow Nebraska Hwy. 2 into Lincoln past 56th and 48th Streets, past 27th Street until you come to 14th/13th Street, turn right and go approx. 3 miles north until you come to J Street/Lincoln Mall, turn right toward Capitol. Free one and two-hour parking may be found on the streets surrounding the Capitol. Longer term parking may be found in the residential areas south of the Capitol. The nearest public parking garage is located at 12th and L streets. Accessible parking is available on K Street adjacent to the Capitol's north entrance. The accessible entrance is under the main north stairs and the sidewalks flanking the horseshoe drive lead to the Capitol's accessible entrance.
