We're Marching - RAIN OR SHINE!
Come join us for a Women's March on October 17th in Fort Lauderdale,
FL! In solidarity with a Nationwide Day of Action, we will be hosting
an in-person, masks required, socially distanced Women's March / Rally
to show our support for Women's Rights, LGBTQ rights, Black Lives
Matter, and ALL the other reasons it's important for us to stand up for
EQUALITY in this upcoming election!
A variety of actions will take place at the event including:
💫 A moment of silence to honor Ruth Bader Ginsburg. We encourage you to wear a RBG shirt or a "dissent" necklace in her honor.
💫 Biden yard sign distribution - $5 each
💫 Speakers & local candidates talking about why you should VOTE!
💫 Remote actions like phone and text banks and an online ‘Social Media March’
We believe in science and take public health seriously so we will mask up, use social distancing, sanitizer, and all the tools to keep each other safer, as well as having opportunities for you to participate remotely!

Parking: There is a city parking lot north of the courthouse where we recommend parking.
Lineup:
10:00 a.m. arrival and initiate first march around the block of Federal Building & Courthouse
10:30 a.m. Moment of Silence in remembrance of RBG
11:00 a.m. March to Broward County Supervisor of Elections to drop off VBM Ballots
12:00 p.m. End of Activation
Attire: We encourage you to wear a RBG shirt or a "dissent" necklace in her honor and don't forget your mask!
Bring:
Make a homemade poster stating WHY you are marching with us!
Cash for Biden / Harris Yard Sign (a limited supply will be available on site for $5 each.)
Action Item for Today: Text RBG to 50409 to assist you in automatically sending your senators an email on your behalf to delay the confirmation for Supreme Court Justice until after the election!
