At 10am, Park as close, or as far, from the La State Capitol Bldg as you like or need, walk the public sidewalks following Google maps or Maps to the Louisiana State Capitol, Baton Rouge, LA 70802. This is a peaceful protest on public property. Please do not impede or block traffic or engage any counter protesters or hecklers. Illegal activities are not allowed & will be the individual’s sole responsibility.
We all come from all walks of life. Symbolically & safely, w/masks & physical distancing mandatory, at 10 am, each person will start walking from a chosen location/parking spot in downtown BR using public sidewalks, with our signs in hand & our voices of dissent converging, through the Capitol gardens and grounds, ending at the steps of the State Capitol. Women have lost too much at this Public building. Women have more at stake in this state and national election. Encourage others to geaux march & geaux vote or the other way around.
No speeches or lengthy gathering. Just females and their allies marching in solidarity for EQUALITY NOW.
