Women's Voices of SW Florida is hosting a March for Reproductive Rights on October 2, 2021, in Manatee County FL.

James Satcher, Manatee County Commissioner is working with Mark Lee Dickson who prides himself on making sanctuary cities for fetuses.

We are Florida’s Lubbock. This is ground zero for reproductive freedom.

Sarasota's march will now be held together in unity with us in Bradenton.

For anyone who isn’t aware, Manatee County is now leading Florida in the pursuit of adopting an ordinance that mirrors Texas' Senate Bill 8. The same bill that was enacted in Lubbock, TX in May of this year, that allowed Texas to enact anti-abortion law statewide in September.

We cannot allow Manatee County to pass this ban, and be the foothold for Florida to revoke access to safe abortion state-wide.

This is intended to be the largest march in SWFL, we are putting the pressure on our local legislators to STOP the pursuit of anti-abortion ordinance in our state. We are inviting all surrounding municipalities to join us and march in solidarity against these bans and in defense of our reproductive freedom.
