We are outraged. The Supreme Court has overturned nearly half a century of precedent and completely undermined our constitutional right to abortion.
This decision removes protections we have had for nearly 50 years and takes away the power to control our own bodies – allowing state governments and politicians to interfere with our most personal medical decisions.
This is the first time the Supreme Court has reversed an individual right it previously established. This is an injustice and the fallout will harm the American people, who overwhelmingly believe Roe should have remained intact.
But this isn’t over. We’re fighting back.
